Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, As many of you know, Birmingham Islamic Society (BIS) has operated multiple masajid and coordinated countless activities for the Muslim community in Birmingham, Alabama, for more than three decades. During this time, pursuant to its Constitution - as implemented by its governing board that has been elected from time to time - BIS has consistently promoted only those opinions, ideas, and beliefs that are firmly entrenched in the Quran and Sunnah and has categorically rejected any opinions, ideas, and beliefs that fall outside of these fundamental Islamic sources. This approach has certainly been reflected in BIS’s unwavering position on homosexuality: homosexual sex and relationships supporting the same are anathema to Quran and Sunnah (since they are not allowed within a lawful Islamic marriage) and are therefore unconditionally renounced by BIS. Any video, statement, or other action that is inconsistent with the BIS position stated above is wholly unsupported, and flatly rejected, by BIS. And any attempt by members of our community to impose upon BIS any position that is inconsistent with that stated above should also be rejected by the entirety of our community. كما يعلم الكثير منكم، فقد قام المركز الاسلامي في بيرمنغهام بإدارة العديد من المساجد ونسق أنشطة لا حصر لها للمجتمع المسلم في
بيرمنغهام /ألاباما لأكثر من ثلاثة عقود
خلال هذا الوقت ، ووفقًا لدستوره – الذي ينفذ من قبل مجلس إدارته الذي يتم انتخابه من وقت لآخر – عمد المركز الاسلامي في

علاقات محرمة ملعونة في القرآن والسنة لأنها ليست في إطار زواج إسلامي شرعي صحيح بين ذكر وأنثى وبالتالي تم رفضها
واستنكارها دون قيد أو شرط من قبل المركز الاسلامي في بيرمنغهام
أي مقطع فيديو أو بيان أو أي إجراء آخر لا يتوافق مع موقف المركز الاسلامي في بيرمنغهام المذكورأعلاه لن يُدعم وسيتم رفضه
بشكل قاطع لا لبس فيه
وأي محاولة من قبل أعضاء مجتمعنا لفرض أي موقف يتعارض مع ما هو مذكور أعلاه على المركز الاسلامي في بيرمنغهام يجب أن
يتم رفضه أيضًا من قبل مجتمعنا بأكمله
