BIS organizes several educational opportunities to serve the needs of the community. If you have questions about any of these classes, please contact the BIS office.
General Discussion
Held after Fajr prayer every Sunday at the Homewood Masjid.
Seerah of the Prophet
Held at the Homewood Masjid every Saturday after Isha prayer.
Aqeeda Class
For all ages. Held every Sunday at 12:00 PM at the Hoover Crescent Islamic Center.
Weekend School
The BIS weekend school is offered for children ages 5 and up. See the weekend school page for more information.
Qur'an Class
For ages 5 yrs to Adult. Held every Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoover Crescent Islamic Center. Due to class size, two 1 hour classes will be offered. The class times for each Quran Class are from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM for the first class, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM for the second class, and 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM for the third class.
Urdu Tafseer Class
For sisters only. Held every Thursday at 11:30 AM at the Hoover Crescent Islamic Center.
Qur'an Tafseer Class
For all ages. Held on Tuesdays after Isha at the Hoover Crescent Islamic Center.
Hadith Lecture
Held every Wednesday after Isha prayer at the Homewood Masjid
New Muslim Class
The new Muslim class is currently canceled, but will return soon inshallah.
Arabic Class
Various levels. Held on Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hoover rescent Islamic Center. Please contact the BIS office for more information.
