• BIS will have Summer Camp from May 28th until July 6th. Please stop by the BIS office and pick up a registration form. If you miss this fun opportunity, IAA will have another fun summer camp from July 11th until July 29th. Please register at the IAA office.
• There will be no Friday Night Dinner tonight. The activity will resume next week.
• The First BIS Dodgeball Tournament will be held on May 12th at the HCIC basketball court. Registration starts at 12:00 PM at a cost of $5.00. The tournament will begin at 1:30 PM. Lunch will be served to the participants.
• There will be no Qur'an Tafseer class this Sunday or next Sunday.
• There will be no BIS-WIS this Sunday.
• The MYG Girl Scouts will be meeting early tomorrow from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
• The next general interest class will be on Saturday, May 19th at 2:00 PM at HCIC. Learn how to make homemade ice cream. The cost of registration is $2.00 per person.
• The Red Crescent Clinic of Alabama is open every Sunday from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Please call the BIS Office to schedule an appointment.
• IAA registration for the 2012-2013 school year is now open. Please stop by the IAA Office to register your children.
• IAA students are collecting money for IAA projects. Please show them your support.
• Many mubarks to Brother Areeb Islam and Sister Huma Fatima on their marriage.
• Br. Omar EL-Jishi and Br. Abdul-Rakeeb Al-Sabahi would like to invite the community to the wedding reception of their children (Amr & Manal) on June 10th at 6:00 PM at the Harbert Center. Invitation cards will be handed out at both entrances of HCIC and the Homewood Masjid. Many mubaraks!
• Many mubarks to Brother Areeb Islam and Sister Huma Fatima on their marriage. Brother Areeb Islam is visiting from South Africa and is active in Islamic dawa work there. Sister Huma Fatima is a physician and is also a teacher in our weekend school. Please have some pizza and donuts on your way out to share in this happy occasion. (HOOVER ONLY)
