Honoring our very own BIS President

Br. Ashfaq Taufique

Dear BIS community members,

The National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ) is a human relations organization that promotes inclusion and acceptance by providing education and advocacy while building communities that are respectful and just for all. The NCCJ was founded in 1932 and is dedicated to fighting bias, bigotry, and racism through advocacy, conflict resolution, and education. They have been a great resource and support to the BIS Muslim community over the past several years.

Alhamdulillah, in 2019 they are recognizing our relationship by awarding Br. Ashfaq Taufique at their 46th Brotherhood and Sisterhood Awards Dinner on Thursday, March 7, 2019, with one of three Brotherhood and Sisterhood Awards. If you are interested in attending, tickets are available for purchase, tickets are available for purchase at the link below. The price to attend exceeds the cost of the meal since it is a fundraiser.

However, if you are interested to attend, but not able to pay the requested price, please contact Br. Lucas Gambino (lucas.gambino@bisweb.org).
