BIS organizes several educational opportunities to serve the needs of the community. If you have questions about any of these classes, please contact the BIS office.
Dr. Hussein Abdullatif will conduct a tafseer of selected ayat of the Qur’an every Sunday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Each week an email will be sent out in advance to inform participants of which specific ayat will be covered in class, insha’Allah.
Tajweed class held every Friday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM by Sr. Salwa
The Muslim Youth Group Girl Scouts classes are held on Saturdays from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at HCIC.

This is a class on Analysis of the Qur’an held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM by Dr. Farina Akhtar at HCIC
For ages 5 yrs to Adult. Held every Sunday 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Monday through Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoover Crescent Islamic Center.
A detailed analysis of the Life of the Prophet from the Original Sources with Sh. Yasir Qadhi (video presentation), every Wednesday evening (beginning Oct 2, 2013) after Maghrib at HCIC.
This is a class on Al-Thakirate held from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM by Sr. Yasmeen Sarawan at HCIC

Sr. Dawlat is teaching all levels of arabic every Friday and Sunday evenings at HCIC, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, please speak with Sr. Dawlat to register for the class.
Halaqa’s by Br. Tarek Mango are held at the Homewood Masjid every Saturday evening after Maghrib.
